...for the Bertuzzi Project. Excellence in design to promote barrier-free accessibility in renovation or building.

Evergreen completely remodelled an existing cottage to allow wheel chair access to the client who had been unable to use the cottage for ten years. This included an accessible kitchen, an accessible bedroom and washroom addition, an exterior lift to a graduated pathway to the lake, then access to the lake via a stair glide.

2. 2008 | Minister of Small Business presented an Award of Recognition...

...congratulating Evergreen on "successes in green energy solutions" The Hon Harinder S. Takhar visited the newly-installed solar hot water system that Evergreen had just commissioned at the Lindsay Car Wash, where he presented the award. The award states "Our government recognizes the important role small businesses play in the economic success of our province. Building a business requires vision, hard work and dedication. I appreciate your commitment to excellence. I applaud you on all your efforts"

...presented to Evergreen for their successful Green Schools Pilot Initiative project submission. Evergreen was chosen from many submissions Ontario-wide, to install grid-tied solar projects on school rooftops which would incorporate an educational component.
